The W2W Score Formula

The W2W Score rates every game across the NBA, WNBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, CFB, CBB, EPL, UCL, and MMA so you can tell at a glance which matchups are worth watching tonight.

Core Components

Every score is the sum of five factors:

Rivalry Value
1 – 10
The historical and emotional weight of a matchup. Set by hand for each sport.
Marketability
1 – 10
Team appeal — brand strength, fanbase size, star power, and media relevance.
Competitiveness
Dynamic
How closely matched the teams are in the standings. Tighter matchups score higher.
Quality of Play
Dynamic
How well both teams are playing, based on their combined record across the season.
Importance
Dynamic
Where the game falls in the season. Late-season and postseason matchups carry more weight.

Final Formula

The five factors add up to a single number — the higher the score, the more it's worth watching.

W2W Score = Rivalry + Marketability + Competitiveness + Quality of Play + Importance
